Newborns from Ternopil were greeted with embroidered shirts
Traditionally, a special campaign “Born in Vyshyvanka” is held in Ternopil for World Embroidery Day. As part of it, babies receive their first embroidered shirts.
On this occasion, on May 15, the head of the Department of Family, Youth Policy and Child Protection of the City Council, Khrystyna Bilinska, congratulated mothers and babies who were born on the eve of the holiday in the maternity ward of the Ternopil Municipal City Hospital No. 2. The children were presented with embroidered children’s dresses and suits, which will become a talisman against all evil and are a symbol of our indomitable Ukrainian spirit.
